Gaitana IA recognizes voters, communicators, and civil society leaders committed to strengthening democracy and civic participation.
You can apply if you participated as a registered voter, published journalistic content regarding Gaitana IA, or belong to a national/international organization dedicated to strengthening democracy and exploring new mechanisms of citizen participation. Every application is reviewed individually. Applying does not guarantee approval nor share delivery.
The program includes three verifiable participation categories.
Citizens who participated as voters in the corresponding election, attaching their official electoral certificate.
Journalists, media professionals, podcasters, or creators who published a verifiable report, article, interview, or video covering Gaitana IA.
Members, leaders, researchers, or innovators from national or international civil society organizations, think tanks, civic labs, or pro-democracy foundations dedicated to open governance and new mechanisms of citizen participation.
The legal registration and document verification process is conducted through the official Spanish portal under Colombian legal jurisdiction (Law 1581 of 2012).
